Divine Justice or Karma to World Malefactors - First Part

Divine justice is said to demand punishment to correct what is wrong, to expel the evil, as medicine is said to expel the disease. On the other hand, the law of Karma says that "every event that occurs, there will follow another event whose existence was caused by the first, and this second event will be pleasant or unpleasant according as its cause was skillful or unskillful." Likewise, it's also said that for every action, there will be a corresponding reaction. Yet, as the saying goes:  "The road to hell is paved with good intentions." Thus, there're many world figures whose evil deeds had overshadowed whatever good they left the kingdoms or countries they once ruled. But, there are those whose very names invite revulsion, dread or immeasurable hatred, like Adolf Hitler, Pol Pot and Idi Amin.

Even lesser personalities could not escape Divine Justice or Karma when errant path was taken either unknowingly or deliberately. Remember Joseph P. Kennedy Sr., the patriarch of

the wealthy and politically powerful Kennedy clan of Boston. Massachusetts, USA. He was said to commit many improprieties along the way to the top of wealth and power. As the Holy Book states that "visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and the fourth generations of those who hate Me." (Exodus 20:5 ; Deuteronomy 5:9). The first to suffer the Divine Wrath was Joseph Kennedy Jr., a pilot

killed in England during World War II. He was then groomed by the politically astute father to be a future President of the United States. His unexpected death forced Joseph the Senior to pick another son, John F. Kennedy.

As the President of the United States, John F. Kennedy, his Presidency was helped along by his very charming First Lady, Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy, who brought glamor and classy facade to the otherwise drab White House. The Kennedy Presidency was romanticized as the second coming of Camelot to the international scene as the world was mesmerized by the turning tails act of the Soviet Union which was prevented completely from spreading its influence in the Western Hemisphere via Cuba under the Communist Fidel Castro. Unfortunately, the glorious heydays of the Kennedy Presidency got shattered by his assassination on November 22, 1963.

Another victim of the growing legendary Kennedy family curse was the third sibling, Rose Marie Kennedy who was found mentally challenged and eventually confined in a sanatorium until her death in Januaary 7, 2005. Robert F. Kennedy, the seventh sibling, was the US Attorney General  during his brother's Presidency and later on as Senator was the front runner for the 1968 Democratic presidential nomination. He was assassinated in Los Angeles, California on June 6, 1968.

The ninth sibling, Edward "Ted" Kennedy served as US Senator from Massachusetts from 1962 until his death in 2009 due to brain cancer. The controversial Chappaquiddick car accident caused the death of his passenger, Mary Jo Kopechne, whom he admitted he left behind. This incident damaged largely his chances for the US Presidency as he lost in a Democratic primary campaign to incumbent President Jimmy Carter. From thereon, Senator Ted Kennedy devoted his time completely to his Senate seat discarding any aspiration for the US Presidency expected from a member of the Kennedy dynasty. Kennedy Family curse, Divine Justice or Law of the Karma, any of them can be deduced to be at work therein.
